This porcelain lemon juicer was made in Hasami, a small town in Nagasaki Prefecture, known as the birthplace of fine Japanese ceramics. It is one of a series of porcelain objects created by Makoto Koizumi, one of Japan's leading product designers.
About Kihara
Kihara is a Japanese porcelain producing company based in Arita in Southern Japan. Arita is a historical town well known as the cradle of porcelain production. Fine porcelain has been manufactured here for over 400 years. Today at Kihara traditional techniques mixe with modern methods.
